BYK PU PRIMER 9001 – 1K is a single-component, low viscosity, polyurethane based primer. It was designed in conformity with different types of sub layers or sub layers at different locations. The prominent feature of the product is that it has very low viscosity and it stabilizes the curing speed. Thanks to this, it perfectly coats and impregnates almost all types of surfaces, porous (regardless of pore condition) or non-porous (glass, metal, etc.), holistically and homogeneously. Even if the main layer is coated late, it is not a problem. It can be applied on dry and slightly damp concrete as a low-cost effective waterproofing material that increases the durability of the substratum.

Uygulama Prosedürü

Sand-treated BYK PU PRIMER 9001 - 1K is recommended for surface defects. Apply with a brush or roller. Once cured, you can proceed with the application of the main membrane. The used sets and tools must be cleaned with BYK PU TH 901 as soon as possible. The rolls are for single use only. They are not suitable for reuse.

Surface Preparations

If possible, the surface should be cleaned using a high-pressure washer; oil, grease, fuel and paraffin residues should be removed, it should also be completely free of mold release agents, cement residues, chips, loose particles and cured membranes.

It can be stored in its original unopened buckets in dry conditions at temperatures between 5°C and 25°C for a minimum of 12 months. Containers of unmixed components must be kept hermetically sealed until the next use.
Depolama
Store in unopened original packaging in a cool and dry place protected from frost. For short-term storage, a maximum of 2 pallets should be placed on top of each other and should be shipped with first in first out. For long-term storage, pallets should not be stacked on top of each other.
